Seafood & Maritime Industries Training Ltd. (SMIT) is a not-for-profit, industry based provider established in 1995. SMIT provides a range of training courses and is involved in national projects for the development of the maritime certificate curriculum.
SMIT is a Registered Training Organisation (No. 1112), providing professional and quality training in maritime, transport, seafood (fisheries), hospitality and tourism industries as well as oil and gas.
